Xnovo PhD prize awarded at Danscatt 2018

The prize for this year’s best Danscatt PhD thesis was awarded to Pablo Alcón Hernández at the Danscatt Annual meeting 2018 hosted by RUC.

The committee regarded his science on new protein from the CRISPR-Cas family to be at a high international level, and the award comes with a personal prize of 5000 DKK, sponsored by Xnovo.

Pablo Alcón Hernández did his PhD research, Structural Studies on Chromatin Recognition, in the Protein Structure and Function programme at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research under the supervision of Professor Guillermo Montoya
