Håkon will give a talk entitled “Time-Resolved 4D Characterization of Grain Growth in Armco Iron by Laboratory Diffraction Contrast Tomography,” demonstrating how laboratory-based 4D LabDCT enables non-destructive tracking of grain growth in 3D during heat treatment.

The work reveals grain-scale growth behavior and boundary migration across tens of thousands of grains, with the complete dataset to be released as an open-access resource for the research community.
