REX&GG – The Recrystallization and Grain Growth Conference
Xnovo is represented by Erik Lauridsen and Mario Heinig at the Rex&GG Conference.
📍 May 27–28, 2026 | Hamilton, Canada – see full program here.
Xnovo contributes to the Experimental sessions with two presentations highlighting advances in 3D grain mapping and microstructural analysis.
- Mario Heinig will present “Time-Resolved 4D Study of Grain Growth in Steel via LabDCT: Tracking Microstructural Evolution in 3D” during the Experimental III session (Wednesday morning), focusing on real-time insights into grain evolution.
- Erik Lauridsen will follow in the Experimental IV session (Thursday morning) with “3D Grain Mapping of Annealing Microstructures Using Laboratory Diffraction Contrast Tomography,” showcasing capabilities for non-destructive 3D characterization of annealing processes.
These contributions demonstrate how lab-based diffraction contrast tomography continues to advance understanding of microstructural evolution in materials.
