Welcome to Frank Niessen

We are happy to announce that Frank Nießen has joined the Xnovo team as our new Senior Scientist.
Frank joins Xnovo from a Senior Researcher position in the Materials and Surface Engineering section at DTU Construct with a decade of experience in research on phase transformations in metastable Fe- and Ti-based alloys applying a wide combination of complementary materials characterization and computational modeling techniques. 
He has expertise in characterizing and predicting processing-microstructure-property relationship by interfacing in-situ experiments with digital twin models and is further renowned for his development of novel algorithms for the parent grain reconstruction and advanced statistical analysis of phase-transformed microstructures.
